Been wondering about something...
Over the time our blog has existed we have had hundreds of international visitors, from literally all over the world.
Yet, the people who have sent us comments are from the United States and Canada only, and I am wondering what's the reason for that. We would sure like to hear from others as well, maybe especially those who are also into RV'ing and travels.

LOOKEE what's coming up the trail
These pink spots and the white stuff is the approaching winter, paying a first visit to the North-East. It's gonna hit New Brunswick from Saturday night lasting out Sunday.
However, we expect to get it as a cold rain out here on the island. It rarely snows here before the end of November. But then again...stranger things have happened.

I am truly glad that we did not plan our departure on sunday as first intended. As soon as we go farther inland we would have met the snow.

Except a few things the coach is packed and ready to go.

Thanks again for visiting!

  1. I read your blog every morning and enjoy traveling along on your journeys . Received an email from a close friend in Northern Virginia saying that 4 to 7” of snow is expected today. In NW Arkansas the leaves are changing into beautiful fall colors but no snow predicted thus far. Safe travels.

  2. I used to get a couple of comments but they were in a foreign language so I had no idea what they were saying. But even those have stopped. You guys be safe out there with that storm approaching.

  3. I've noticed that too - lots of visitors from overseas but seldom ever a comment. I wonder what the reason for that is.

  4. Glad I finally made it to Texas. I don't need to see any of that white stuff! :)

  5. I've noticed the same thing with our blog. I think some of those visits from overseas are most likely people just interested in seeing things from Westerners. However, I suspect some are from "hackers" or others with their own agendas, and no real interest in our blog content. I know we receive "anonymous" comments quite often, with links to "phishing" sites, etc. Just try to delete those.

  6. Same here. Very few followers from other countries (but there are those few). I imagine if I were reading a site written in other than English, I wouldn't bother commenting, either, although they're statistically more likely to understand my comment than I am to understand theirs (0% likelihood).

  7. Travel safe! You are likely going to have to head onto the snow belt:(

We also have many countries listed as visiting the blog, but not much in the way of comments. Mostly those are badly computer translated spam.
