A huge low pressure is moving through the east of the U.S. hitting the Maritimes of Canada. As a result the temperature has gone up to 13C (55F) we have rain coming in horizontal sheets and wind gusts are expected to hit 90kmph (56mph). A storm will never come in any convenient way, and today it was very inconvenient for Bea who was supposed to get to a doctors appointment in Saint John. With the danger of having objects flying around and trees falling over we decided to cancel her appointment. It’s CANADA, eh? So we are facing a day cooped up inside. Hopefully there is enough coffee left to fill m mug.
Stay dry where ever you are! |
Not enough coffee around here would be a major crisis:)
ReplyDeleteWe carry enough coffee for 200 pots when we head south, just in case.
ReplyDeleteHope you survived the storm ok.
Blowing like crazy here all night, and now into the day. Supposed to quit soon. That would be good.
ReplyDeleteSucks to cancel a Dr's appointment. Were you able to reschedule?
Yes, in December, to Peter's chagrin......
DeleteCanceling the doctors appointment was a good move, hope it gets better tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWe are flying out of Toronto on the 3rd Nov to spend the winter back at home, see you next Spring.
We were in St John just a week or so ago.... glad we didn't have that weather then... but am sorry you're getting such a storm now.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you didn't risk the trek to the doctor's office. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
ReplyDeleteWhen the winds are howling sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry.
