Almost Done!

 CONGRATULATIONS!

Even though the formal announcement has not been made yet, we all know who is gonna be the 46th President of the United States.

CANADA celebrates with you and Canadians have been glued to the screens of computers and TVs since Tuesday evening. We have lost sleep on your behalf and we are overjoyed that you have managed to take your country back from the brink of destruction. No doubt, your vote for Biden/Harris has saved your democracy. And the world is letting out a breath of relief.

What you pulled off, has saved you from seeing your health care being wiped out by a gang of criminals in the White House, and their daily lies will not be part of your lives any more. Instead of further division you will see unity return, even it may take some time.  Humanity will prevail. The Nation can now retake its seat in the international community and rejoin international treaties.  Respect for the United States can now be rebuilt. Your friends in Canada will be eager to re-visit your country.

Beginning with the formal announcement, your flag will fly for 3 days and 3 nights from our front porch. It was put away in a dark place 4 years ago. It will be out in the open again soon.

All the best...your neighbours in CANADA!

Update: It's only been a few hours when the announcement about Biden's win came on the news. I went to the flag closet and took out the American flag. It is now hanging off of our porch. Americans should now use the time to rebuild neighbourhood relationships. Also, if you have family members who didn't talk to you since Trump split you apart, call them, invite them and heal together. Time will help you to overcome the division which has kept you apart. Work with your local and state government for the common good and build bridges together.
Remember, life is too short to fight all the time. Be kind and enjoy and you'll be happy!

  1. Unfortunately, Obamacare is still at risk at the Supreme Court. Lots of damage during Trump.

  2. John, that's true. But I think a new and even better health care, maybe building on Obama care principles must be developed. It will depend on the total power the new incoming government can wield.

  3. If I wanted crappy government health care, I would live in a country that had it.You are not an American and many of us along with three Canadians I know who immigrated to the US don’t need support from Canadians like you. Glad we won’t have to have you in AZ this winter(my winter home is in Scottsdale & summer home is in Flagstaff) and from what you post your few dollars you would spend( as your lifestyle doesn’t convey you have much) won’t hurt AZ economy. Block this post if you so choose.

    1. Why would I block your posting.? All you say is that you prefer to pay $$$ every month to have your health care and that you, by that reason, prefer to live in the US, which is absolutely fine with me. Canada wouldn't take you anyway. But could you enjoy your grand lifestyle without your social security? Remember Trumpi wanted to take that away from you if he'd been re-elected. If you can, you must be one of those very rich Americans who never bother with their fellow citizens who might be less fortunate and depend on free health care. Are you in church every Sunday and say your prayers? Remember that Jesus took care of the poor and needy! Oh, and before I forget it, we love our lifestyle the way it is, cause we have a great government which also knows how to handle pandemics. Pls. don't hesitate to convey more of your valuable insights.

  4. Erobey I guess you won't miss one snowbird but your economy will miss the several hundred thousand that come. There was over 813,000 Canadians that visited just Florida alone in 2018. To early to call the election with Trump having his temper tantrum but you have a nice day. Oh and if you do not know Canada is your 2 largest trading partner as well so there is that.

  7. THANK YOU for the well wishes and congratulations and flying our flag---we finally can be proud Americans again. It's hard to believe that there was that many Americans that voted for this deplorable guy. He's golfing today---gotta spend our last dime on him. I'm not sure but I think this is about the time he usually files bankruptcy.

  8. Watch this country go to hell with a dementia plagued senile president and a socialist vice president in waiting!!! He won't be in office two months until he's been ruled incapable of leading and they get Kamalass in office. It's been great and it's been fun but now it's over!!!

    1. Hey, where did you get the doctors report about Mr. Biden's health? Or...wait, I guess that is just another wild Trumpist alternative fact. You guys are great with that. The majority of Americans prefer a real president rather than a liar in chief and crazy narcissist. Your other comments got deleted. You need to cleanse your vocabulary before writing comments.
