Courage Defined

“I hope that current members of Congress recall that it actually doesn’t take a lot of courage to aid those who are already powerful, already comfortable, already influential. But it does require some courage to champion the vulnerable and the sick and the infirm — those who often have no access to the corridors of power.”

    1. The hypocrisy of those Republicans is unprecedented. Will the trumpists wake up one day? Do they have enough brains for it? Questions, questions...

  2. They are all getting fat pay cheques from the HMOs. Once the Health Care Law is repealed their profits will Skyrocket. SHAME!
They try to pass our Socialistic Health Care as Communistic.

    It's about time.

  3. The same lawmakers that were squawking about the ACA being passed by the Dems without being read and without the CBO report are now the same ones who did exactly that. So-called savings in Medicaid and the pre-existing conditions cut backs are being passed on to the wealthy. 2018 elections can't come too soon. Hopefully voters will see past the smokescreen this time.

  4. It's so pleasant to once again hear an Obama speech, especially after what we've been exposed to the last three months.
